Birth Doula Package

Whether your birth is a few hours to a few days, Alyssa is committed to making sure quality over quantity is key; therefore, she takes on fewer clients per month to fully show up for you and your family throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum window.

On average, Alyssa spends approximately a total of 50+ hours per client between appointments, unlimited labor support, editing and shooting photography, unlimited text and call support, resourcing within our community, and postpartum assistance/communication.

Alyssa also provides free community support gathering within the St. Augustine Birth Collective on a weekly basis for all expecting and seasoned Mothers throughout pregnancy and new Motherhood. This is not just for her birth and postpartum clients, but for any Mother seeking solidarity, support, and an unbiased, judgement free space. Her hopes is to provide an open floor where women can share their experiences and thoughts on various intimate, raw, and often not talked about topics. This is a great way to not only sit in circle with your doula, but other women as well!

In order to serve all families, please inquire with Alyssa to see if you are both a compatible fit for each other and to discuss pricing structure.

  • Active military families, medical professionals, and teachers receive a $200 appreciation reduction on the above fee.

  • Appreciation discounts (for active military, medical professionals, and teachers) cannot be stacked together.

  • Repeat clients will be guaranteed locked in pricing according to the rate they first hired the Doula for.

  • Alyssa firmly believes that one should not be limited to a care provider based on price alone ; those who do pay her full package fee allow her to take on a certain number of Sliding Scale Clientele per year. A Doula’s pricing is set based on number of births attended and her experience, and what is included (prenatal and postpartum visits, photography, childbirth education, etc.).

What is included?

Investment: $2,500 - 2025 Rate

  • 3 prenatal appointments (for some, this may mean more visits so that education, trust, and individualized consultation for food, cooking, and herbal support can be met).

  • Maternity photography folder of all edited images.

  • Birth photography folder of all edited images.

  • A visit with you to your healthcare provider at the end of the third trimester (optional - can also offer this virtually before the appointment to discuss options).

  • Unlimited birth support. This could be hours up to days.

  • On Call Availability - 2 weeks prior to your Expected Due Date and 2 weeks after your Expected Due Date.

  • Resourcing within the community (traditional and functional medicine providers, pediatricians, family medicine doctors, etc).

  • Clients offered 4 Hour In-Person Childbirth Class for half off - $150.

  • 2 postpartum visits (used within first 6 weeks postpartum).

  • 1 Newborn Craniosacral Therapy Session to address fascial restriction and tightness after birth.

  • Suggested/Optional: Attendance to all Pregnancy and Postpartum Groups at the St. Augustine Birth Collective led by Alyssa. Please see social media for all scheduled dates and topics! These are complimentary to the public and a light, organic meal is always served.

The Well-Informed Birth Team - The Partnership Birth Doulas Package - with Partner Katharine Deeb of Dare Alla Luce Doula

Investment: $3,000

  • Birth Doulas and Co-Teachers of The Well-Informed Birth Team Childbirth Education, Alyssa and Katharine, have partnered together to offer the community a more cohesive experience so that you are guaranteed to have two doulas who will fully be on-call and available to you during game day. Both doulas are supporting you so that there is not any worry about having a back up doula or worry about having someone on your team that is not tired from a current long labor or prior attended birth. They bring a combined 24 years of experience in the birth and postpartum realms to the table so that every family has well-rounded support.

    • This allows Alyssa and Katharine to bring a fresh energy into the birthing space when labors are over 24 hours so that you have the best care! It has allowed Alyssa and Katharine to be able to show up 110% for every client during pregnancy, birth, and during the postpartum window.

  • 2 Doulas on Call for you that will cover prenatal and postpartum appointments with you and get to know you and your preferences.

  • 3 Prenatal Appointments

  • 4 Hour In-Person Childbirth Education Class ($300 Value)

  • Unlimited Birth Support

  • Maternity Photography ; Birth Doula Photography if agreed upon.

Postpartum Care Packages

A: Surya (Sun) Package - $2,100

What is included?

  • 1 hour of individualized nutritional and herbal intake.

  • 1 weekly session in your home (light housekeeping, meal prep, breastfeeding basics support, care with other children) over a 6-week period. Each session includes 5 hours of in-person support and healing meal preparation (the price of food not included). Think - your refrigerator being stocked with healthy, nutrient dense snacks/treats, sides, main dishes, and lactation teas!

  • Mini Abhyanga sessions (Ayurvedic warm oil treatment) on the upper body (face, shoulder, arms, hands) and parent-led baby Abhyanga assistance during each visit.

  • General family support so that each family member’s needs are met.

  • Any errands needed to be done during this time so that the family can focus on bonding and rest.

B: Chandra (Moon) Package - $1,550

What is included?

  • A total of 4 meal deliveries (includes all ingredients, preparation, selecting ingredients, and delivery time to St. Augustine, Jacksonville, or St. Johns County). Each delivery includes a four-course meal: a main dish, a few sides, a dozen lactation muffins, a breakfast dish, a soup, and lactation tea/herbal medicated milk. Clients tend to have leftovers for the following day with each delivery.

  • 1-2 hour prenatal appointment to prepare your pantry (dried goods, herbs, spices recommendations) along with recipes for postnatal preparation and guidance.

C: Chandra (Venus) Package - $1,100

What is included?

  • 2 in-home Abhyanga treatments (Ayurvedic circulatory and lymphatic medicated oil treatment). Two hours each session.

  • 2 meal deliveries (each delivery includes a four-course meal, golden herbal milk, a dozen lactation muffins, porridge/breakfast dish, and soup for a family of two.

  • Herbal care package (customized for the client depending on the birth experience and needs).

À La Carte / One Time Offerings

  • Placenta Encapsulation (Prepared via Traditional Chinese Medicine Method via steaming with herbs and then dehydrating) — $275 ; $200 for Doula Partnership clients with Katharine Deeb.

  • Individual Abhyanga session in your home (two-hour treatment). — $210

  • Individual Hourly Rate - Meal preparation and postnatal in-home care (cooking, light housekeeping, breastfeeding basics, and tending to other children). — $70/hour

  • Individualized Birth and Postpartum Consultation Planning — $100/hour

  • Personalized four-course meal, preparation, and delivery within St. Augustine or Jacksonville (all ingredients are local and organic). — $350

* If the client purchases one of the above postpartum packages and lives more than a 30-minute drive from St. Augustine, FL, a delivery charge to cover time and gas expenses will be added to each individual visit for a charge of $50. This will be collected on a weekly basis.

Lifestyle Photography

For those who are seeking a Lifestyle Photography Session (whether that be maternity, newborn, a solo session, or with your family) and are not a doula client, Alyssa can help you decide the perfect location and give you a folder of edited images for keepsake.

What is included?

$275 for Full Hour Session / $150 for Mini Session Half Hour

  • Phone consult to discuss ideas, outfit color options, and location.

  • Folder with 50-100 edited images for you to download.

  • Drone images are included upon request.
